Always the book.
-
90% of the time I will take the book.
-
Books have way more detail in them, but movies are fun too.
-
I'm going to say the book about 95% of the time. A few movies I did like better than the book were: Jaws, The Right Stuff, and maybe The Grapes of Wrath, only because Henry Fonda was a great actor.
-
If a person sees the movie first then reads the book, most of the time they say the movie was better. If a person reads the book first, then sees the movie, most of the time they say the book was better. That's how it usually goes.
-
The book please :-)
-
Depends on the both the movie and the book, most of the time reading the book then watching the movie.
-
Watching the movie of course! reading books, in my opinion, is boring. you feel all the excitement and fear etc watching the film, I dont get the emotions reading a book! popcorn may have contributed slightly towards this answer too :$
-
Watching the movie is better but it happens many a times that due to "censorship" actions, the film is edited (some parts are cut) and then it is difficult to understand the movie. So, the book helps at that time.
-
I love to read so I would rather read a good book...I tend to fall asleep if a movie is on.
-
Depends on what they do first. People who read the book first before they see the movie, tend to like the book. People who see the movie before reading the book tend to like the movie.
-
I would far rather read the book. When I read a book I visualise the characters and they are hardly ever the way I visualised them when I see the film or television series. The only exceptions have been the Lord of the Rings films and the James Herriott television series where most of the characters were amazingly close to the way I had seen them in my mind.
-
Reading the book. After reading the book the movies disappoints me.
-
Most of the time, reading the book.
-
The book! although...After reading 1984 i saw the movie...i thought that the movie focused on parts of the story that the book didnt go as far into...so, sometimes i think both are good for different perspectives...
-
watching the movie and eating popcorn, so much easier than reading
-
