  • Unfortunately, there is no quick fix for that one. Only time and consistency will prove he/she is trustworthy. Words mean very little, actions will prove to the betrayed party that the betrayer is contrite, and sincere.
  • I guess just don't do it again! And let the person know that you love them and only want them...good luck! I know it would be hard for me to ever trust again!
  • By being trustworthy. Time and your own behavior are what will make a person worthy of trust again. It's a long road.
  • It is hard to learn to trust someone after they have cheated on you. Even if they say they want to many times it isn't easy. My ex wife cheated on me and at first I wanted to try to work it out but it seemed the harder she tried the more I accused her of stuff that may or may not have been true. When it gets to that point especially if kids are involved it is better to just move on than deal with being mistrusted or not being able to trust.
  • It is a long hard road but if you love each other and accept that we are human and make mistakes it can be done!! Just have an open and frightfully honest conversation often. Talk don't stop. Sometimes you have just got to dive in and try or you may never trust anyone again.
