DONT DO IT ,IT IS COLD IN A CAR OR SLEEPING BAG SUCKS COMPARED TO BED ,IF YOU HAVE A FRIEND YOU CAN TRUST THAT YOU HAVE KNOWN OVER 1 YEAR SEE IF THEY WILL RENT YOU A ROOM.DONT GO ON THE STREET IT IS COLD AND NOT SAFE ,EVEN IF YOU HAVE A GUN ,YOU STILL HAVE TO SLEEP AND THERE ARE SOME FREEKS OUT THERE.BE CAREFULL STAY IN A HOUSE AND GET ALONG LIFE GOES BY FAST!

The urge? a few days ago I thought it seemed like a perfect time for a little run away. (but... of course I didn't)

A little over a year ago. I was driving down the highway and I thought about just not getting off the highway. Luckily, I had a little adventure that lasted a year and it seems to have solved the desire to run. But, it will come back. I like to be on the move....

10 Years ago +/- after mmy divorce gave up the house Gave up 2 cars support set at $1850 month alimoney set at $500 month insurance coverages $580 month for the childern yes I felt like running away..to Brazille..!!!!! BUT I stuck it out and eventually things got better for me and I was able to replace most of what I gave up.. I hung in there and I am glad I did !)

Lately I've been thinking about taking you up on your offer to go on that 2 week tropical vacation - does that count as running away?

Everyday. Give me a place to go and a full tank of gas, and I'm there.

I am the one they run away to. My son, his girlfriend, (and new baby), and two of my grandsons are currently here. My sister ran away to my house a few years ago, and eventually moved on, and my brother once brought his motor home to park in my yard for a few years. When I need to "get away", I go to my (rented)condo at the beach. Once in awhile I receive an offer for a free room at one of the casinos, and run away to a free Reno vacation.
