Help answer this question below.
Yosemite Falls in California is the highest waterfall in North America with a 436 m (1430 ft) in one drop followed by 98 m (320 ft) in another, flowing year-round.
The highest single drop waterfall is Ribbon Falls in California with a 491 m (1612 ft) drop when flowing.
Combined Yosemite is the tallest, however Della Falls on Vancouver Island has a higher Single verticle fall. Here are the stats:
Yosemite Falls, California - generally considered the highest waterfall in North America, with a 436 m (1430 ft) in one drop followed by 98 m (320 ft) in another, flowing year-round
With the highest total vertical drop, measured at 440 metres (1,443 ft), Della Falls is the highest waterfall in Canada
HOWEVER - Ribbon Falls, California - 491 m (1612 ft) drop is the winner - but it doesn't flow year round.
Kind of confusing if you ask me.
