I recognise it as a time rather than a feeling! I know that I need 9 hours of sleep otherwise I don't feel great the next day, so as I have to be up at 7am, I go to bed at 10pm, whether I feel sleepy or not - I fall asleep regardless.

Don't worry about it. These things have a habit of resolving themselves.

these days, candy, i really can't figure it out. i'm just trying to force myself to sleep at about the same time every night. i usually fall asleep when i want to, but i'll wake up an hour later or so. i've probably had a total of about 10 hours of sleep in the last week or so. so to answer your two part question, i don't know.
