- NEW!
Help answer this question below.
There are people that reach 50?????????? dinosaurs!
Haha ... It's the new 40!!
Anybody ten years younger than me must be young because I'm not old.
YOUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me!!!!!!!!!!
I turned 50 this year. Fifty is not so bad. There's alot to be said for being as young as you feel. Exercise, etc, are important aspects to looking and feeling young.
BTW, this is payback for me. I lost my hair before 21 and people used to think I was years older than I was; now they think I'm years younger.
EDIT:
I don't consider 50 to be old at all.
I'm almost there, 2 years and 2 days to go. When I was young, 50 was ancient. I feel pretty good, so I will say not so old.
I'm 53 and I know I can still keep up and even out do many younger people in many ways ...including in the bed room !
YOung, young, young...(are you getting worried?)
When I was young, 50 sounded ancient. They say that old is always 20 years older than you are. But now that I'm in my mid-50's (for awhile yet, smile), I like to see people my age behaving like elders and not trying to 'act' young. To everything there is a season.
Young. Most of my friends are about 50. As well as many of the guys I've dated. If they can keep up with this 29 year-old, they're not "old."
50 is still young...that's my (fifty-year old) story & I'm stickin' to it! LOL
Young.
personally I don't but funny how age works.
when your young 50 looks very old
when your reaching 50 it is depressing and scary
when you hit 50 you think hey I dont feel any different.
when you pass 50 by you say to those 50 and younger. ah your haven't lived yet wait until you get to my age.
Age anit nothin but a number
Well now since I'm over 50 , I'll go with '' young '' lol
+ 5
when my grandparents needed private room at night, andthey had celebrated their 85 wedding aniversary?
age is just a number.... unless law is involved...lol
Yah 50 is old
I turned the BIG "50" in September and got me a motorcycle and on my birthday i went by myself and got my first ever tattoo. i am officially a BIKER CHICK.
I love it. Me and my hubby love to travel on our motorcycles now it is so much fun.
Nope ! I just turned 43 and I sure as heck don't feel old. 50 is still young in my book.
Having recently turned 43, I'll go with "not so old".
50 is not old in fact I think You are as young as you feel. I am 58 and I am still very active.
Not so old! I'm 44, and hubby's 49. I may even be persuaded to go with young!
Of course, when I was 15, I thought 50 was old and washed up.
Since I'm 53, I'd say 50 isn't so old that you can't enjoy every part of living!
Wow! Didn't know I was keeping company with so many people around the magical age of 50! I am 54, amazed that I have been around for half a century, feeling fine and not old! I like to be around people of this age because they usually have become comfortable with themselves and life around them.
My mom turned 50 this year...and she's not old.
I think it has alot to do with how you have spent your 50 yrs once you've gotten there.
If you were a coal miner all your life, yes , it's very old.
If you spent it doing things you love with people you love and you have good health and lots of prospects then it's not old at all.
I hear 50 is the new 30 - there are soooo many baby-boomers as we who were born in the 40s and early 50s are so affectionately referred to.
I used to think 50 was old - when I was in high school, my mom was 50 and that seemed ancient.
Now I'm 58 and I think it's pretty cool. I wish I had felt this good, looked this good, had this much confidence, and appreciation for my lifestyle when I was younger. But alas, sometimes with age comes wisdom...
YOUNG!!!
You are only as young or as old as you think you are!
Gosh, I won't be old until I hit the triple digits--and even then, I'll still be dancing!
:D
i consider them not so old
If you plan on dying at the age of 100,then I would call it middle-aged.
In my opinion, 50 is neither young nor old. I suppose that's why they call it "midlife." I'm past 50 and it was sorta the milestone for me that I stopped wearing anything outside the house that remotely branded me as trying to look "sexy." I say, "if you can't be young, be elegant!"
When I was a child, a person about 2-3 years older seemed old for me, when I was a teenage, a person after 20 years seemed old for me.when I was 30 I was afraid even to say this number. Now I think that even 60 is a young person.I`m not afraid that time when I`m 50.The most important I think to have the good health, have an interesting life ,and answer as interesting questions like this one.
Depends on the person.. Young and Old are more than just a year...
Before they moved, my grandparents used to go visit the "old man on the corner" ... He was 91, they were 87.
I consider age 50 to be exactly the middle age!
This is evidenced by all the members of the "Smucker's Club" who have reached age 100 or better. My favorite quote regarding age is this; "age is a matter of mind, if you don't mind, it don't matter."
Every age is what you make of it so why not enjoy!
Klikitmd.
I'm 52 so 50 is young lol.
Age fifty is the beginning of your sixth decade of life. Hopefully you will get through your sixth decade without developing cancer or heart disease as many people do. Fifty can be joyous and you still can feel young but practice moderation and you should still feel "youngish" when you reach sixty.
Age fifty is young enough to be old and old enough to be young!
I read somewhere in a magazine that 62 is the average age people considered a person to be old.
I'm 36. I believe age is really a state of mind. 50 is young!
Just those three choices? I turned 50 this april and feel not so young anymore how about that?
Not so young, and not so old...I'd say a kind of middle ground.
Since I hit the fify mark myself, the younger it seems to me!
I used to think 50 was old. Not anymore. We are all aging and getting older. You are only a day older today than you were yesterday. You are as young as you feel!

Fifty seems middle-aged to me. 50 is in the middle of 100 and people are living to ripe old ages these days.
Not so old.
I think someone who's 50 is still young. When I was a teenager I used to think that 40 was old but as you get older and "wiser" you realize that 50 is still not so bad. I must say that cause I'm half way to 50.
not so old. My mother just turned fifty, and she looks great and still works a zillion hours a day. I'll never know how she does it - I can only hope I have that much energy at 50!
I consider it not so old. My mom is getting closer to 50 and she's still young to me.
Not so old. I'm in my 50's; with age comes wisdom. The mind strengthens as the body weakens.
Truly 50 is just fine <on anyone but me> :)

I dunno ... everyone is saying that these days. 30 is the new 20. 40 is the new 30. 50 is the new 40. All the way I suppose. It seems people are staying healthier longer now with all that we know.
