Try this: Open Internet explorer Click Tools -> Internet options -> Content tab. Click 'Enable' under contents and select the appropriate levels. You may also need to ensure that other users do not have administartive rights or they may be able to reset the content levels.

you could try setting safe google as your homepage. it will filter all adult sites and images - http://safe-google.com
