Do you like or dislike the Walt Disney Company? Why?

Well, I don't see what's wrong with it but I have no reason to love it. I guess it's kid friendly. Actually Disney is a great company when you look at certain parts of it. I personally love Tinker-belle and at the moment I'm obsessed with High School Musical (1&2)

No I do not like it. It is not what it used to be. It is too commercial for my tastes.

I think it would be a different company if Walt was still alive. He was more about the experience and less about the money. He may have gone bankrupt by now, but what a ride it would have been!

I have no qualms against Disney except that Disneyland is too damned expensive. I've never gone there because of this huge price barrier.

It's a large company, just like any large company, in business of making money for it's owners and shareholders. As a money maker, it is a fairly good investment. As one of the largest media and entertainment companies is the world, it is the subject of several workers right and animals rights complaints, but maintains a reputation as very proactive to correct the problems when they arise. They also have a reputation of aggressively protecting their intellectual properties. Steven Jobs (Apple computer inventor)is one of the members of the board of directors.

I'm luke-warm on Disney. I like some of their stuff, but, overall I think they are guilty of overmarketing themselves. I have to say that Disneyland in CA is, in my opinion, getting pretty run down. And, I think it's fair for me to say that because I first went there over 30 years ago when it was in better shape.

I love Disney - I hope to one day have a complete Disney movie collection. I love them because they make GREAT movies - both animated and regular.

I love it! Its magical.

Its for the kids and not me and nothing like anime which gives a certain adult aura. I feel this way because of the predominate theme in Disney movies seem to be childish in nature.
