Do you put the milk in first before you add hot water to your coffee/tea?...I do ...seems to stop the bitter taste with coffee

That all depends on how I am making it! If I am making tea with a tea bag, then I put the water on first. If I am making tea with leaves and pouring from a Tea pot, then the milk goes first. With coffee, if I make a cappucino/latte the milk goes in first and then the shot of Espresso, if it's just reglar coffee then the cream goes in last!

I heat a small amount of milk in my mug and then pour the hot water for tea on it.
