No. I think he believes that his position is the right one. I have to give him some credit for that.

I would not be embarassed at all. I would be very proud that my dad had the guts and courage to stand up for what he believes is right even if it is not popular with the majority of the country. That is never something any child should be ashamed of in a parent.
