Usually, it's some young punk who thinks that he has to make a name for himself by calling me out on the center street at high noon. I give them a chance to put down the sixgun and go back to the farm, but they never do. I never walk past Boot Hill anymore...

inspiration would cause those who can draw to draw. for me I doodle if I am sitting around bored.

I doodle draw when I'm upset or bored

I won't draw for weeks, and then get a lightning bolt out of nowhere and blow an entire pen on a drawing. I don't have any clue where it comes from. I do micro-pen (0.5) / mixed (pencil and permanent marker) crosshatch stuff, so a single drawing can take the ink out of at least one whole pen if not more. Maybe I'm just too cheap to buy lots of pens.

Usually a boring situation when I have a pen in my hand such as a telephone talk session, some sort of a class type setting where I am supposed to take notes or pay attention. At work I will tend to draw especially if I am on the phone with a customer, I will engage in second rate drawing. Oddly enough, I won't be drawing if that were an option during my free time, I would most likely be doing something else.

An inner desire to create which is trying to send you a message ... ;) It was this that eventually led me to my art. Peace
