What would you do with a captured burglar?

• It dosen't bother me that my answer was downrated. My husband works works nights and I'm home alone. If someone broke into my apartment I would do whatever I have to do to protect myself. I own a gun and if it means having to shoot someone to protect myself, then so be it.

• If he was captured he would be unarmed for he would have been caught physically.If the question meant,I found a burglar in my place,I would not approach her/him and tell them they can take what they want and to leave me alone.They are after the goods and did not break in to kill me.It is not worth for me to have anyone shot,neither them or me.I can alway replace stuff ,but getting wounded or killed is something else.
