None whatsoever - Windows is a computer operating system (software) that can be installed on either a laptop or a desktop computer..

Once you get fed up with Windows, it will be easier to throw the laptop against a wall. Otherwise, no difference.

Not really. Except that sometimes you may want to configure it differently for a laptop.
