Well seeing as they are being safe and using protection, they have atleast covered that they're mature enough to do that. It is common to be concerned, though and you can't get angrey at that.

Women are always worried they might be pregnant after sex. No birth control is 100% effective, so even if you have protection you'll wonder until you have your period. I do think it's weird when they didn't use protection and wonder if it's possible....of course it's possible! It's also possible if you used a condom, diaphragm, AND the pill. It's possible if you had anal sex and not vaginal, because things drip. (ew.) It's possible to get pregnant from sex. Duh.

it depends on if they're just asking because they're curious and may or may not be having sex. or if they're really that uneducated to be asking about something they should have known before they started having sex in the first place.

Honestly, I blame the parents for not having the talk with them and leaving it up to fate to teach them or thinking if they don't talk to them they won't know about it. BUT they let them watch what ever movies they want, play what ever video games they want, watch all the MTV their little minds can handle, let the girls run around dressed like sluts and let the boys run around without having a respect for girls. Should they be having sex, probably not but there is not much you can do to stop a horny 16 year old. Proactive action is better then ignoring the situation.

my friend, whom had been taking birth control on the same exact time every day and using condoms every time she had sex still got pregnant. but...she was having sex like 6 or 7 times a day. and the rest of her family's menstrual cycles were messed up, while she had normal everything. she is just really really fertile. so not absolutely everyone is an idiot for asking a question like that. but..most of them...i agree.

Of course, there are exceptions, but when it's "My girlfriend didn't move at all during sex, can she get pregnant" or something similar, there is a definite concern for the poor little possible childlets. In which case, they should keep their trousers on and do the crossword instead.

i think they can do whatever they want. they can have sex if they want whether educated or not. give them credit for at least trying to get educated by mistakes they may be making. they might just be seeking reassurance on their situation. i dont think they should be judged if they are having sex and arent 100% educated. not everyone can know everything. people can do what they want.

I THINK ITS MORE OF A REASSURANCE THING, THAN A "CAN I GET PREGNANT".....DUH, I THINK EVERYONE KNOWS IF YOU HAVE INTERCOURSE, PROTECTION, BIRTH CONTROL, WHATEVER, THERES ALWAYS A CHANCE OF GETTING PREGNANT....SOME INSTANCES, ITS A LESSER CHANCE OF BECOMING PREGNANT, BUT NON THE LESS....SO I THINK THEY LIKE HEARING OTHER PEOPLES "WE PULLED OUT FOR 10 YRS AND NEVER GOT PREGNANT" STORIES.
