Haha yeah I remember it but I never remember eating there I just remember "bob" the big boy that was part of the structure.

There are still a couple around here in southern california. However, they dont have those comic books I used to get when I went as a kid. I think you can still buy the banks though.. There is nothing like a Bobs big boy burger,fries with a side salad with blue cheese. ( I LOVE to dip my fries in the blue cheese) Followed of course by a thick chocolate shake. Yummmm

Is Bob's Big Boy the same as Frisch's Big Boy? If so then they are all over the place here.

Yeah I remember & miss them. I still know of one off the 15 freeway in Southern California. Unfortunately I've never been hungry and near it at the same time.

One of my jobs during my college years was hostessing at Big Boy, which was called Vip's Big Boy here in Albuquerque. We had 5 of them here, way back then, and now they've been taken over by other franchises. I remember they had the best malts and shakes, and the hamburgers were so good!

I remember them. They were the first place I ever had a hamburger outside of home, maybe ever too lol!!! And you sat down like civilized people to eat your hamburger meal:-)

Yes! We used to eat there all the time when I was a kid. Pattymelt with cherry RootBeer.

I remember going to it once but since I have drastically changed my diet, I do not miss it.
