  • One of the first authors I ever got into. I do really love "Matilda" but I think I liked his poems the best - the Revolting Rhymes ones - they were great.

  • Of course it has to be "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Honorable mention goes to "The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane". His stuff is slightly twisted up and I enjoyed that as a kid. Jodie Foster was excellent in the film interpretation of the book "LGWLDTL". She is a great actress, her new film that opens tomorrow should be excellent.
  • Roald Dahl! I used to love him too. I think my favourite book was 'The Wonderful Story Of Henry Sugar and other short stories'. Although George's Marvellous Medicine ws great too, as was The Witches. Oh no, don't forget Charlie and The Chocolate Factory aswell! It's all coming back to me now, I remember, was it Quentin Blake who used to do those illustrations?
