  • Obviously... Additional: It would have really been nice of you to let us in on your tribute before you began berating those of us who didn't know that you had a secret idea in mind. No one who didn't "GET" your idea was being disrespectful. We were responding to the question we read, which said nothing about your emotional turmoil.
  • there are some things in life you never forget.
  • some things have been forgotten..(brain injury) but I remember the important things..LOL
  • No I have not forgotten. I care very deeply about what September 11th represents and what it means to the victims families and the country. I flew a flag outside my apartment today, and I said a prayer as I raised it.
  • YES! ....I mean, no.
  • This Question is intended as a reminder of those lost on 9/11! I know I don't take things very seriously here too often, but the flippant answers here seem to show how much everyone has. It's a song I'm quite fond of; http://www.hit-country-music-lyrics.com/Darryl-Worley-Have-You-Forgotten-Lyrics.html I hear people saying we don't need this war I say there's some things worth fighting for What about our freedom and this piece of ground? We didn't get to keep 'em by backing down They say we don't realize the mess we're getting in Before you start preaching Let me ask you this my friend CHORUS 1 Have you forgotten how it felt that day To see your homeland under fire And her people blown away? Have you forgotten when those towers fell? We had neighbors still inside Going through a living hell And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout Bin Laden Have you forgotten? They took all the footage off my T.V. Said it's too disturbing for you and me It'll just breed anger that's what the experts say If it was up to me I'd show it every day Some say this country's just out looking for a fight After 9/11 man I'd have to say that's right CHORUS 1 Have you forgotten how it felt that day To see your homeland under fire And her people blown away? Have you forgotten when those towers fell? We had neighbors still inside Going through a living hell And we vowed to get the ones behind Bin Laden Have you forgotten? I've been there with the soldiers Who've gone away to war And you can bet that they remember Just what they're fighting for CHORUS 2 Have you forgotten all the people killed? Yes, some went down like heroes in that Pennsylvania field Have you forgotten about our Pentagon? All the loved ones that we lost And those left to carry on Don't you tell me not to worry 'bout Bin Laden Have you forgotten? Have you forgotten? Have you forgotten?
  • How could anyone really forget what 9/11 is? I remember exactly what I was doing when I saw the news on TV. I had just walked in my house and the tv was on. They had interrupted the program with a breaking story about how a plane had hit one of the Twin towers. They were speculating what kind of person could have accidentally hit that, when a few minutes later one hit the other tower. I remember the shock and disbelief that began to kick in and all the pictures that I worked with for the newspaper I worked for. I was a photograph adjuster/sizer for a local paper, at the time. It is so hard to forget something so human, so important and so tragic.
  • Probably... Wait... what was the question?
  • No Jack I have not...not sure I could if I wanted to. I was late for work today because I watched the actual coverage again on MSNBC...it was surreal...I felt the same emotions I felt then....I had to reapply make up because of the tears. No one I knew died that day but it did not matter....it was though all Americans lost a certain innocence that day. They lost the comfort of knowing that "things like that do not happen in the US"...we can never say that again or feel completely comfortable when we get on a plane...or bus...or attend an event. Thanks Capt...oh and loved the song ...Darryl Worley did a great job.
  • No, I have not forgotten 9/11 and I never will forget seeing those towers fall.
  • No way I have forgotten and I never will , Bless all from the September 11th tragedy
  • No, how could I? The Pentagon wants us to remember it forever so they can keep on illegally invading other countries.
  • Since I was in it...I can never forget and I have lung COPD to remind me everyday.
  • No - you STILL owe me twenty gazillion points here! ; )
  • Forgotten what exactly?
  • No. My brother is a Firefighter down in San Diego, so I have a lot of respect for the firefighters in New York because I know how much dedication they have and how hard they work to do their jobs. What happened was absolutely tragic, as the loss of innocent lives always is. I didn't lose anyone, but just knowing that others did breaks my heart.
  • No and not a one, ever will!
  • Why have you remembered? If you have I will be round to take my share!
  • Yep..that's been happening a lot lately...:(
  • I must have...I can't remember what it was I was supposed to remember.
  • Yes I don't remember do remind me.
