My parked car was hit along with 5 other parked cars on my block. The driver of the car that hit these cars is only 16 years old and was driving with a learner's permit. How can I recover the cost of the damages to my car?

    First, i hope the police were called and proper reports completed. a sixteen year old driver, with a learners permit, is just that...sixteen and underage. eighteen is the age of adulthood, meaning his parents and their insurance is liably responsible for the damages. you will need an attorney, if the parents have insurance, and you will need an attorney if they did not have auto insurance. the part about ending your lease is a contract question that your attorney should answer. this is a civil matter.
