- There was a time when I hung out with my brother and his friends. They were always joking around with each other, but never me. I asked my brother why and he said they were intimidated by me.
  I was the type you wanted to back you up if there was trouble.

It happens to me all the time and I would find it humorous and I may get even too, but all in fun :).

I guess it would depend on the intention behind it. I've had (very few) people play a joke on me with the intent to hurt me or piss me off and although I may laugh it off, I wouldn't waste my time getting even with those type of people, I'd simply stay away from this person or if this person persists, I would confront and find out what's really going on.

I don't have the energy to get even. If the joke just caused me embarrassment, that would be fine as I don't take myself seriously. If it caused injury or lasting harm to myself, others or property... I would be very angry.

- i recall being at camp sometime during high school... i was taking a shower and everybody in my dorm decided to go ahead and steal all of my clothes! haha. and then, they decided to steal my towel away from me, throw me outside and keep me locked out for quite some time! i thought it was relatively funny, really.

- i suppose there's not really a mastering engineer that doesn't know how to record and mix... and there's probably not a mixing engineer that doesn't know how to record. recording engineers that can't mix or master are just idiots. hell, now that i think about it, i'm also a live sound engineer. forget about it, i'll stick with audio engineer, even though it's kinda vague.

I would not see humor in it nor would I get even..I would simply withdraw from the person who perpetrated it and move on to more friendly terrain. :)
