  • This one is a tough one to answer! I hated school and hated doing homework even worse. I always at the time thought, if the Gov paid me to do school and homework, it would be better, as it would give me an incentive! You don't give your age or school level, so it is hard to answer. I would say the main reason you have no motivation is, because your teacher is as exciting as watching grass grow, or paint drying, how exciting! If you have to do a book reveiw about Romeo and Juliet, boy, I pitty you. They are so out dated, what has it got to do with anything, here and now? Now I will show you, where I used to hate history, to now loving it, all because I went to a lecture! Since I had droped out of school 5 years earlier, I thought, I would give it another go. This Proffessor, gave us an example about somebody that moved out of their parents home to another suburb! So you say to yourself, well why not at 20 y/o old! Well then the proff said, why, did they move out? Did they move out because, they were employed, did the parents throw them out, did they want to move out because the wanted freedom from their parents rules, did they want to move into another area where their friends lived, did they move because they were earning more and want to move to another better classed suburb to be amoung their dollar equals, etc, etc, this then began my brain racing, why did the person move out in the first place! So to me, even if a boring subject, try to put a new slant on it, even if it is boring to you now, try to look at a different idea and then it can become very challeging.
  • self-discipline? and there is also the internet where you can finds lots and lots of already made homework.
  • It's worth thinking about your future. You may need certain subjects/exams/grades to follow a career path and even if you don't they can be an advantage in the future.I suggest also setting an alarm- you work for so long etc then have a break and reward yourself for completing tasks. If you are struggling speak to your teacher/parents etc.
