  • I guess that depends on your definition of "decent place to live". I live in the Indianapolis, IN area and I think it is a great place to live and has a very reasonable cost of living. My brother-in-law is about to retire from the Service and they are moving to Ft. Worth, Texas for the lower cost of living, but decent amount of jobs. They don't want the winters we have in Indiana.
