Sinatra :)

From what I've heard, Sinatra is. He had a unique style and his voice and delivery were something special.
-
Dino. Better looking, better singer, actor, funnier..Sinatra was a pig.
-
Everyone raves about Sinatra, but I could never figure out what made him "The Voice" that became such a big phenomena. I always considered Dean Martin to be a much better singer AND he was cool to boot! The guy oozed charisma. Even as a kid I recognized this. I would watch his tv show absolutely mesmerized at how smooth he was. At that age, I don't think I understood anything about charisma, but I knew this guy was IT. In fact, I'm in the process of trying to collect those shows now that they're available on dvd. Anyway, long live Dino for me!

Dino is better as far as I'm concerned. Frankie was a great entertainer, and he grew as an artist too, but he was mean to ordinary people. Bump that!
-
I'm a Dino fan all the way. He was the definition of Cool !!
-
Dean was by far the best in more ways then talent!!!
-
Dean...Everybody loves somebody sometime.....
-
"Chairman of the Board"
-
That's a tough one. If you mean talent: Sinatra If you mean personality, looks, sense of humor and overall ultimate cool: Dean wins for sure!!!
-
Personally I go for Dean, but Frank was an amazingly talented man.
-
Sinatra.
-
It's a draw.
-
I think Dean Martin has the better voice and might be a better singer but Frank Sinatra was the better showman.
-
That is a matter of opinion ... I always prefered Sinatra, but not by much, Dino was right up there too.
-
Dino of course that guy had his own bar on stage and I remember Michael Landon coming on with Hoss' ten gallon hat and filling it full of whiskey..very entertaining.
-
Dean Martin!..his voice soothes my soul
-
My vote goes to Dean Martin. My dad described him the best when he said Dean Martin comes out and basically gives the audience a big smooch! He was definitely an amazing talent.
-
Martin... Sinatra "played around" with lyrics and melody too much in most songs - at least live.
-
it's hard to compare the two. i mean they were both amazing singers talent wise. dino basically reaked of coolness. but then frank was addressed as the 40s gangsta persona, even if he wasnt. his songs were masculine. both had different style of songs, if you listen you can tell. (example: dino's "i left my heart in san fransisco vs frank's "i won't dance." )I'll admit i think dino had more personality and seemed more congenial towards people from what i heard. I was born in '88 so my opinion might not mean anything. As far as singing is concerned they are pretty close. from my collection i listen to sinatra more but for television wise id rather watch dino. his colgate comedy hour is awesome, but then again what do i know i was born in 1988

Dean Martin, by far. He was better lookin better songs and movies and soo much funnier. Sinatra couldn't keep up but tried so hard.
