  • The iPhone was only able to be activated on the AT & T network. A couple of weeks ago, a 17 year old boy was able to change the SIM card making the iPhone available to all networks. At the time I posted that question, the bidding for the unlocked cell phone was up to 50 million dollars. He took it off of eBay when an exceutive from a cell provider traded him a nissan 350z, 3 8 gb iPhones and a consulting position. That kid's got a great future ahead of him.
