Yes about 90% of the time.

Yes, all the time, it's completely unwarranted and to put it bluntly, frigging rude!! But not just racist comments; sexist aswell and any kind of derrogatory comment I will point out and hope that the deliverer feels awful about making such a comment in the first place. x

You bet. Especially when they begin the comment with, "I'm not a racist or anything, but..." I tend to have a field day with those.
