Just leave it , you are what you are.
Hey, it allows a guy to feel better about himself, and he isn't imposing his hair on others like cell phone users do with their conversation.
THAT'S vain.
I think those that color their hair are doing it for pretty much the same as the women who color theirs to hide the grey. Mine has started turning white a few years ago but I do not plan to color it up.
Whatever makes you feel better about yourself. I have two brothers- in-law that do this and it looks natural (they're only in their 40s) and I think it makes them feel more like their true selves. So, it's more for them than to look good for others. Although men who are 70 and have jet black hair look ridiculous.
I love grey or salt-and-pepper hair on a guy.
definetely vain...gotta love the silver fox or the great greyback.
I find gray hair to be sexy, so I think it's a shame...
But if it helps someone feel more confident and lose some insecurity, I think it's a good thing. Society puts pressure on people to look and act a certain way. Perhaps by dying his hair, the man feels as though he's conforming to society's standards.
And why is it different for a woman and for a man?
I think it's vain too!
Most women seem to think it seems distinguished.
Those that don't seem shallow and not worth worrying about.
Besides; YOUR ONLY AS OLD AS(the girl)YOU FEEL!

whatever makes them feel better is good. i think when they first start going grey they should dye it then if they are going to dye it because if they wait until they are fully grey and then dye it everyone will know then.
I think there's a difference between vanity and wanting to feel good about yourself. If you're not standing in the mirror fauning over yourself or falling into a lake while trying to kiss your reflection, I'm probably not going to think you're vain.
No more vain for a man to color his hair than for a woman, however, I think gray/silver hair is really hot.
I see a good many men who enhance and prolong their blond locks. Why not?
Why is it OK for us and vain for them?
As long as they don't end up looking like Donald Trump...ugh! That's even worse than old ladies with blue hair... :D
I got my first gray hair at about 12 years old. At 16 it was a little salt and lots of pepper. At 21 it was salt n pepper. Now, at 45, I think it is difficult to tell it used to be black hair. I never colored it. Even in elementary school, the girls liked it. http://webpages.charter.net/techdon/who.html#hair
Its fine if I guy wants to color their grey hair.
It's totally up to the man with the grey hair. If they feel better and comfortable without the grey hair then totally go for it. Like someone else posted on here said, just don't wait until it's completely grey because then it will be totally noticeable.
Got no problem with it. Currently considering green or purple. Well, not really, but I could not care less if some other dude wants his hair to be a different color.
Whatever makes them feel better, but I personally would say just let it go grey :)
It is the same as wearing a toupee, immediately noticeable but if it pleases them so be it!
I think it is o.k. Hey, if they want to make the
monthly visit to the hairdresser, they can be my guest!
depends on what color........ fluorescent green perhaps
Whatever floats your boat. It'd look better than this bleach crap that some people put in their hair.
I think it's no worse than women who do it. It's their prerogative, though I think people should be more comfortable with grey hair than they are. The Bible says that grey hair is the glory of a good life. But whatever floats your boat. :-)
I guess I'm lucky -at 58 I have no grey hair..but I see no harm in anyone doing it. I think it really works for some people.
I do dye my hair. Am I vain? Probably. Thats also probably why I run, go to the gym, and try to be well groomed generally. Is it a huge problem on a global scale? - probably not!
Women dye their hair all the time. Why would I think anything about a man doing the same?
Is it vain? Possibly, but no more than a woman doing so.
Personally, guys, I think you should keep the grey! Not only does it make you appear more "distinguished"; it can be quite sexy!
I think it's okay. Vanity can be exhibited in worse ways.
It's not always vanity or for feeling better about yourself-
Companies prefer younger people. Grey hair sends a subconscious signal to employers that you are at the end of your career cycle. Simply dying your hair can result in a pay raise or a promotion.
It's just abut critical if you are interviewing for a new job. People are not going to hire someone who looks old.
