  • They are destroyed by acid and enzymes in your stomach. They can't possibly hatch.
  • They are digested by your body and so never mature. You do however get some insects/animals that rely on their young being eaten and then ejected out the other end in their circle of life. These young are built to withstand the contents of your stomach (the eggs for the entire journey or just to the areas where they can survive in your body). Worms are a good example of this.

  • All sorts of parasites live in our bodies and get expelled out in our stools. Worms are soft-bodied and live in our digestive track, and their eggs come out in our stools. So I'm not so sure that fly eggs would not be strong enough to last the journey through our bodies.
