I have an xbox, and a ps2, and have had them for a couple of years. If I had to choose just one to buy I would have to pick the Ps2. Why? The Xbox has better graphics, a hard drive etc etc...but let's face it there's one thing that makes us buy these little appliances. GAMES. And the Ps2 has way more games available than xbox, and in my opinion many of the games are, in my opinion, simply better games. Many games are available for both platforms, and while you miss out on exclusive like Halo, on the flipside PS2 gets Granturismo 3 and 4, Final Fantasy X, X2, XII, God of War I and II along with, of course, hundreds of others. Sure Xbox has better graphics, but that's not going to do you much good if (like me) you prefer a lot of the games on PS2. So in short, pick either Xbox or PS2 depending upon which has the games you like.

Playstation is, and always has been better than the rest.

PS2. New models are light weight and slim.
