  • You could ask the same for humans, but I doubt it would happen.
  • That would be nice but I don't think that's the answer. It isn't a case of too many dogs. But there are a lot of dogs with problems caused by people who are irresponsible owners, people who turn IN dogs not too many puppies. IN California they are actually bringing dogs into the sate from Mexico because there aren't enough puppies for people. Isn't that weird? Limiting breeding would only keep responsible people from breeding good dogs and stop a few puppy millers. It would hurt the service dog industry in a big way. They have routinely said that there shouldn't be breeding limits. And there are a lot of specialty dogs besides service dogs like working sheep dogs and herding dogs. All these kinds of dogs don't end up in the shelters. It's the people who have a dog that grows too big or they just don't want to feed one anymore, or they don't have the time, their kids move out, college students who abandon pets are a real problem in college towns. Puppies don't cause the problem. It's people who don't take care of their dogs.
  • Yes I Think it should be stopped at least on certain animals. Because we could be helping out the animals that need out help. We dont need all these other ones to put on top of the ones who acually need help!
  • It's a nice thought, but it'll never happen.
  • That would be great if all babies could find a happy home but that will never happen.
  • I have 10 dogs all rescue animals and the first thing I do is spay them. I think there are enough animals in the world who need homes without breeding more.
  • Great idea - let's include people too :)
  • Yeah i think its a great idea, but you are right, it will never happen.
