Your fuel pump could be failing. It sounds like no fuel is getting to the engine. This could also be caused by contaminated fuel (hole in gas tank, etc), a kink in the fuel lines, or a faulty sending unit.

you could have a number of problems. It wouldnt be a bad idea to look at the fuel pump. Maybe it isent working properly and at low idle barely at all. I would also check your fuel filter, it maybe clogged. I would suggest you put in your gas tank a fuel injection cleaner. You can get this at any gas station and this cleans out any corrosion or build up you may have from your gas tank on.
