  • Suck it up and realize you went to school to prepare yourself for this. You're all "growed up now", time to take it down a notch and fit into your own office space.
  • You don't survive it, it just happens. You can't stay in school forever, and at some point you realize "this is my life" and you live it. I know it is not what you wanted to hear, but it is the truth for a lot of people. What helps in the transition though is if you go out and do a lot of new things to keep yourself busy. Make the most of your free time, because it will only shrink.
  • And now you know why people my age worry. We don't like the idea of lazy whine-asses with no work ethic and a spoiled-brat sense of entitlement like your generation running the world and taking care of us in our old age. Just so you know, even those of us who DO work in the real world and have done so for YEARS still have souls and party occasionally. If you still think that life has come to an end because holding down a job is soul-sucking and that all there is to life is partying then maybe your life SHOULD end; do me a favor and eat a gun right now.
