No, I rate everyone on a fair scale.

no i am a pretty equal person, plus i dont really have that many friends

Sometimes i just give points because i think answer is helpful, and sometimes because i can. I only read who the writer is when they comment on something i have answered. If i see a friend, though, i will give them points to say "Hi" anonymously. I recognise them from their avatars.

Yes. I give lost of people points just because I like them.

Indirectly, yes -- simply because my friends get a lot more of my attention than everyone else does. Most of my activity on Answerbag consists of "stalking" my friends -- going through their profile activity, reading their postings, and of course it's not uncommon for me to up-rate their answers. I don't necessarily review all the other answers on each list and try to objectively pick the best answers, or ensure that points are distributed in an unbiased way. My main focus is my friends, everything else is secondary. In the "old days" I used to do much more of that (reviewing the whole list), but there's just too much content and noise these days. The sheer volume of material posted each day on Answerbag is overwhelming, I can really only keep up with a few people, and I find that to be quite a satisfying way to use the site.

No. I give points to anyone who answers any question that I asked and to anyone whose question I answer. If I don't know the answer but think it's a good question, I give it points. I will always + any negs that I see unless the question is nonsense or offensive. There are 2 users that I am almost always out ouf points for.

No, I give points out for the merit of the questions or answers. I give lost of points to lots of people, new or old, friend or never met ya. I do tend to recognize and answer friends' questions but I guess that's why they are friends, because something about them attracts me. But I look ate everybody and point all.
