1979 Black Buick Regal. My mother was asleep and I drove it three blocks to my friends house to be "cool." Unfortunately...I thought that one could just stop the careand jump out. I had no idea that you had to put the car in park or put on the parking brake. I "parked" the car in front of my girl friend's house and the car kept rolling down the hill to major traffic. The first car I drove was a white Land Rover Discovery. The second car I drove wasn't nearly as heavy, and I was so bewildered when I took my foot off the gas and the car just kept going. The Disco would decelerate so fast.
