REALLY BAD. I looked like a girl. I hated it for a few months.

Once I let a friend cut my hair because she needed some cash (she did go to beauty school). I had long hair with a couple really long layers. I asked her to trim my layers. Well, we got to talking and I was in my kitchen so I didn't have a mirror, and she put in a layer every half inch all the way down my head. I then had long, feathered hair, which wouldn't have been so bad if it had been the late 70's, but this was probably around 95 or so! And I was PMSing, so I couldn't stop crying about it! It was horrible and took forever to grow out!

yes now i have one and i really want to beat the hair dresser i warned him more than 3 times but he still cut some parts shorter ...

when i was 15 my brothers girlfriend was a trainee hairdresser at the local collage and one day i asked her to perm my hair! Worst mistake ever as it looked not to bad wet, but when it was dry, i had this mad afro, and afros dont look good on white men eh! Another time, she said she would put blonde streaks in my hair, i agreed. but it came out just about my full head was bleach white, i looked a noodle! Other times, ive had crazy lines cut into my hair, nowadays i just stick to having a skin head ha!

I have long hair, down to the middle of my back. & I went and got it cut up to above my shoulders, & I hated it. So the next day I had extensions put it.

I had long hair and I wanted to make it significantly shorter, so I ask for "short, but not too short". I ended up getting some gnarly hockey hair. I frowned, payed my bill, did a few errands and looked in a few mirrors, and within an hour, I was back, demanding that they cut the mullet.

Sighs...oh yes. First come the stages of grief then the long wait for it to grow out. Hopefully, maybe a good cut to make some sense of the mess you have now might speed up that journey for you.

well, i haven't had a very bad experience. although i am very pickyy.. boys -- i would say turn it into a buzz cut, and spike the front. VERY SHORT. lol girls -- i would say go for something plain, let it grow out, and go to a good hair dresser

i once put peroxide bleach on my hair after drinking half a bottle of vodka, totally lost track of how long i left it on, and all one side of my long hair basically fell out and the other half was ruined, it took me 18 months/2 years to grow that disaster out..and i have NEVER mixed alcohol and hair dye since lol

my dad used to cut my hair as a youngster and has really bad eye sight it caused me no end of bullying
