Jimi Hendrix didn't die of and over doese.. he died from choking on his vomit in his sleep.

bottom line is noone knows 100%, i think we can all assume he smoked pot thats pretty much everyone else at the time too but we still have no facts that he did or that he did anything else. yea ive heard "stories" of him tripping on acid and everything else but noone knows for sure not like they were hanging out with jimi back in the day. and as far as his death noone knows that either, i believe he overdosed on sleeping pills and choked on his throw up personally. that seems like a somewhat logical explanation foor his death but noone will ever know now will they?

Jimi Hendrix's body showed no signs of heroin use-ever. He loved pot. Could do a hell of a lot of L.S.D., but it did nothing to him. He may have had a head-injury, sometime in his life. The coroner found massive amounts of wine, in his lungs. He couldn't have put it there. He puked, after he passed. It is, now, thought they he may have been asphyxiated by pouring wine down his throat, or, putting his head in a sink full of wine.

This is pure conjecture, unless anybody was with him or saw him do it you don't know. Yes, he probably did do or try some since it was that era. But nobody knows for sure except the people he might have done it with.
