If you are going above the speed limit and someone is on your butt, do you speed up, stay your course or slow down?

I try to deliberately go slower.

Keep going the same speed. If it is at night, I flash my flashlight (I always have one in my car at easy reach) back at them. If they flash back, I wave them around. If they don't, I let go of the gas to bring myself back down to the speed limit. If they continue to tailgate, I have my cell phone ready to call the police.

I speed up because I'm a push-over and I'm pretty relaxed anyway. If it makes me too uncomfortable I try to let them pass.

I would love an ex-army 101 Landrover, they have 'convoy bumpers' designed to allow them to plough through road blocks, they also have excellent brakes, screech, crunch, home to repaint the bumper, accident officer? What accident? As it is, I just ignore the idiot and stick rigidly to the speed limit.

most of the time, i slow down. do they actually expect me to get a ticket because they're in a hurry? if i'm not in a bitchy mood, i just keep going my speed. i never move over or speed up for them. they can move over themselves. +4

It depends where I'm driving but usually I'll slow down to the speed limit or 5 under until they pass.
