Do you tend to only answer the short questions or is it just me?

I answer some of the longer questions, but sometimes,I get a little lazy reading the longer questions.

Definitely, the short ones. I find that people who ask direct questions really want answers. Long preambles and explanations usually represent a soapbox or seek justification for something the questioner has already decided upon.

Often the long ones on here are nonsensical or at best um mangled. I'll respond to long ones if they aren't in too bad of shape.
