    Yes it's cruel and the animals suffer from overgrown body parts and are just given them to fatten up. www.peta.com.

    Definitely. There is absolutely no need to do it. It is cruel and inhumane. Like doing it to a baby human -they cannot stop you from doing it and that would be classed as 'wrong'.
