Play against yourself. You're bound to win.

If you go first in turn try to capture three of the corners, without taking an eye off your opponent. If you have to go second, just block, block, block and look for a tie or if you're lucky an error from your rival. Wow, I'm making it sound like Chess here ; ).

Only if I go first. If I use this strategy, not only will I never lose, but I will never tie either. If you want to see for yourself how good it is, we can play in a comment thread, I'm X, you're O, and dashes are empty spaces. -edit- oops, I just realized there is one way to block it and make it a tie. --- -X- ---
