  • The only jello, i have ever made, was with water. remember, jello and similar products, all contain gelatin, which comes from horses and cows, if you consider this to be a dairy product.
  • If your concern is lactose (which is a common concern), use Lactaid milk. It tastes the same but it doesn't have lactose (which makes it perfect for lactose intolerant people). If, however, you just don't use dairy, I hate to say this but you're out of luck. If you have protein allergy, you COULD use soy milk but it might change the taste undesirably.
  • Never tried this. Even if the pudding set properly, the taste has got to be watery. Got dried milk? use it. If not, got coffee creamer? mix with equal part water. Let us know how it did or did not work. John
  • Yes, you can use almond milk, rice milk and coconut milk:-)
