Yes you can, but is it a trance like state? Years ago I bought a book on hypnotising animals. It did show you how to put a lot of animals into a trance like state, but I would say not a hypnotic state. I still think I have the book somewhere. Try a second hand or rare book store. If you contact me and if I still have the book, I can give you the writer and book number but will not look for the book through all my things unless you want the details. Most animals like humans can be scared into an un-conciouse state. Many women faint if they go into overdrive of a scary/ life death situation, I would suspect, that animals that do go into a trance, are doing the same thing, then rather being awake while killed, so to escape pain, and the horrors, I would say.

You cover there eyes and very genaly rub its nose like ur barley touchiung it, wont stay hypnotysed unless u keep hands moving and covering

Yes, most rabbits become 'tranced' if you hold them upside down.

Mine gets really quiet and puts to sleep when I hold him like a baby in my arms (as it was mentioned upside down. Meaning you put them on their back and pet their head and ears).
