I think you mean Worzel Gummidge....have to say more famous as Worzel one of my favorites.

I think he was superb as Worzel Gummidge, i didnt like him as Dr Who, its because you always thought of him as Worzel.

I honestly don't know who or what Worzel Hedgerow Gummidge was, but I can automatically say he was better as whoever it was. He was my least favourite doctor. Maybe it wasn't all him - the fact that he was mostly stranged on Earth in the same time period and working with UNIT didn't help his case with me, and the whole era was mostly boring. And I'm a huge Doctor Who fan!
