I don't think it will. Basketball and Football are more important to America.

I believe it will. Kids are more involved in soccer than ever before and as they become adults, it's the sport they'll want to watch. Also, as they get older, there will be more and more pro teams.

Yes but not on the same level as basketball/football. I think much of it will have to do with immigration. I see and hear quite a bit of soccer because I live in Southern California where there's a high concentration of mid/South-American "imports" who bring their love of it with them.

We have David Beckham here in our neck of the woods..if he can't do it, doubt that anyone can! :)

I don't understand the appeal of soccer. Just like I don't understand the appeal of hockey (I can't even see the puck half the time). Baseball and American football are better, deeper games because there is more strategy in them.

Association Football has as much chance of becoming a major spectator sport in the USA as American Football has of becoming one in the UK, and that is a snowball's chance in hell. Americans generally find it to be boring and incomprehensible, exactly the same as most of the rest of the world finds the American game boring and incomprehensible. Although the amount of money currently being pumped into it must be based on market research, one would think.
