  • For me evolution is all about adapting and changing which i think is what does happen and has been happening for years. I also believe in creation as a beginning. The big bang theory is a bit hard for me to accept.
  • A couple of things. If you found the fossilised bones of a fully modern human in 100 million year old rock, that would do it. Also, if we saw a dog mating with another dog and (with no interference whatsoever) giving birth to a cat, that would disprove or at least detract from the current theory...
  • Well... what kind of evolution are you talking about? There are 6 different kinds of evolution, thanks to the wonderful english language and it's ever changing vocabulary. 1.Cosmic evolution- ex: Big Bang 2.Chemical evolution- Hydrogen evolving to all other elements? 3.Stellar evolution- formation of stars and planets and such 4.Organic evolution- plants giving rise to different kinds of plants? 5.Macro evolution- a change from one species to another 6.Micro evolution- ex: dogs and coyotes have a common ancestor You need to first define what you're talking about. Now realize that 1-5 and 6 are not related. So which one of these were you talking about?
  • As biologist J.B.S. Haldane famously put it, a fossil rabbit in the Precambrian era would do the trick.
  • I would be forced to seriously question evolution if any of the biblical things were shown to be true such as: Fossils of dinosaurs and modern humans found together and dated to be the same age. Strong evidence that not only the earth but the universe is less than 10,000 years old. Strong evidence that Noah and family are the ancestors of all living humans - and that all the critters they took with them all have similar ancestral grandparents at the same time.
  • A dragon or a unicorn would probably be useful...or any animal that just sprang out of nowhere with no identifiable precedents. Or if you put a sterilized closed jar in a locked boxed, and the next day there was a squirrel in it, that would be strong evidence against evolution.
