  • It depends on how north you are going. In southern Finland, for example Helsinki, the temperature varies from about -5 to +15 degrees Celsius, when for example in Sodankylä (in Lappland) it can be something from -10 to +10. So you can be prepared to get some snow, especially if going north. Weather is usually pretty rainy troughout Finland at that time. In Helsinki the sun comes up at about 7-8am and goes down at 4-7pm and in Sodankylä it comes up at about 7-9am and goes down at 2-5pm, so it's pretty dark. The later you come, the darker it gets :) And I'm a native Finn answering this, also able to answer other Finland-related questions :)
