As a general rule, do you like sitcoms? Why or Why not?

I usually like the first couple of episodes, but after that they lose their freshness and originality, repeating the same old situations used in other sitcoms. So no, as a general rule I don't like them.

No I don't, I feel it places unreal expectations on real people, families and situations.

I only like them if they are super funny (Seinfeld, Three's Company, I Love Lucy, My Name Is Earl, etc). Otherwise, I can't watch them.

Yes. The good classic ones: Seinfeld, Friends, Cheers. etc. A recent one I like a lot is "The Office". I don't know about "general" though, I think about 7 out of 10 stink.
