  • The plug will be on the bottom of the oil pan, there could be a cover over it or a skid plate. Now, I am not meaning this to sound rude, but do you know what you are doing/done this before? I would hate to see you wreck your engine trying to save like 30 bucks...
  • There's no skid plate covering the oil pan, that would be the tranny pan. The oil pan is about 2 feet closer to the front of the vehicle than the tranny pan and should be right next to the front axle. The drain plug will face the rear of the vehicle, not on the bottom of the pan. Hope that helps.
