  • I would vote for Mike Gravel. The only thing that concerns me about Mike Gravel is his age. I would never vote for Ron Paul. Although I am drawn to his Libertarian views on fiscal issues, I totally disagree with his stance on social issues. Also Ron Paul sponsored the We The People bill, this bill would limit or remove the federal courts' jurisdiction in cases involving religious freedom, sexual orientation or practices, or same-sex marriages. It also states that decisions by federal courts on cases relating to these issues are not to be set as precedent in state courts. If made law, the act would allow state and local governments to display religious text and imagery, prohibit abortion, sexual practices, and same-sex marriage, and would forbid federal courts from spending any money to enforce their judgments. The legislation would be immune to any constitutional challenge other than to the act itself. A bill who's designed to take rights away from the people is very dangerous!
  • Gravel. Even I do like Paul's stand on taxes, I don't like his social positions.
  • Well, I'd have to do some research b/c I don't know who either one is. :(
  • Ron Paul - he seems to be the most intelligent person in the politcal arena at the moment - I cannot recall a candidate with as mush candor as Paul on not only what's wrong with our foreign policy, but a plan to fix it - he has got my support.
  • Ron Paul! I listen to him and he says the things I have been thinking for a long time, things my professors preached, civil liberties, economic freedom, trade, tolerance. He follows the constitution better than any candidate and he does so because he cares about the people and their rights and freedoms. Dr. Paul is the only candidate that is willing to preach the truth and get the flack for it! He gets the most donations from active military, never voted for an increase in federal taxes, believes in the traditional republican beliefs such as limited government and more liberty for the peaceful citizens. He has been faithfully married to his wife of 50 years and he is the most honest politician I have ever seen. His supporters truly understand how liberty can bring a thriving clean economy, civil liberties, less terrorism through free trade(not managed NAFTA trade). He is also serious about the creation of reserve money that raise inflation. He is the only candidate that doesn't have a negative past and he truly cares about the troops and wants to pull them out of an UNCONSTITUTIONAL war! He is the only true American left! I believe he is a living founding father!
  • G'day Zandalee, Thank you for your question. I would be grateful that I lived in Australia. If I was an American, I wouldn't vote and look at emigrating. I didn't vote for him and wouldn't but Kevin Rudd would be a much better choice than either. Regards
  • Who the hell is Mike Gravel? I heard some good things about Ron Paul so I would have to pick him if I was forced to do so.
