  • My roommate was going through some hard times - so to help him out I said I would take less in rent each month if he cleaned the house twice a week. He did the dishes maybe 3 times in 2 months! Yeah I was pretty mad - No More Discounted Rent - EVER
  • Yes my mother in law, i was always 'good' to her, nice presents, flowers, clothes etc. When she was in hospital i always made sure she had clean nightclothes, cleaned her house for her coming home and made meals for father in law while she was in. But sadly she was always horrible to me, and we havent actually spoke for the last 4years. She hasnt seen her grand daughter at all (she is 3) and hasnt seen her grandson since he was 6months old. Her loss!!
  • Yes, but on a very minor scale...and these things were really not thrown back at me but simply ignored...letting others get in front of me in the grocery store checkout line...holding a door open for someone and getting a glare sometimes or a grunt if I'm lucky. But nothing on a scale such as Mental Mum's.
  • I have done what I considered to be many nice things for those who share my life and yes, many times I am left wondering how it could possibly have been misconstrued as being otherwise. Sometimes it just breaks my heart :( (BTW _ this is a great question)
  • Yes and badly.
  • Yes it was my sisters birthday and i took her to my local pub for a birthday meal, earlier in the day i delivered a birthday cake there and asked staff to light the candles and bring it out after the meal...she went ape on me she was so embarrassed.
  • Yes. The situation was messy, though, and I understand why she reacted the way she did.
