In the bible prayer was never meant to be a mantra. The Lord gave His disciples a model of prayer which we now know as the Lord's prayer so I disagree with the premise of your question!

do you know every prayer from every religion that's out there? if not, i think it's irresponsible to say that the "lord's prayer" is the best prayer that's ever been written.
