Quiet and peaceful I am a 1/4 mile up from a main road so little road noise here and a ferry ride from the city.

I live near a big city (the Washington, DC) area, so there are a lot of things to do here and I enjoy that people come here from all over the world to visit and live.

I love our home and it is a safe and quite in our little cove we live in. Of course many other things. What about you?

The weather. Summer temps in Santa Barbara usually stay under 85 degrees F (29.4C) Same deal with humidity. Two days ago, for example, at around 4pm, the temp was 79F (26C) and the humidity was 44%. Not bad for mid-August. Winters - while it does get cold - night time temps in the 20 to 30F range (-6.6 to -1.1C) - the cold weather lasts just a couple of months. And the scenery around here's pretty nice, too.

The weather and the location is near by the sea but not too close so the weather is great.

I love it here because its naturally beautiful, clean clear water, clean crisp air, snow in winter, hot sun and great surf in summer, beautiful forests and great coastlines, I just love it :)
